Spent The Day In Bed

We met Morris. Morris was lifted from years of breeding and captivity and is now with a loving home captained by Jeremy and Davina. The way his tail wags with joy at nothing you’d pay attention to, how he flops on his side on the cool marble flooring as he luxuriates like a loaf of the finest croissant, and the genuine look of endearment he gives freely to anyone who gazes in - I have no doubt Morris is filled with joy and contentment. Not many find nor come close to knowing a difference between an onerous life past and what is possible, so every time one is given that chance, the blemishes in my heart heal a little.
