Sometimes in life we work to remove the pests in our lives. This is literally about us working to remove parasites from fishes meant for commercial sales because we are people who care about quality and other people. What you are about to see is extremely graphic but you'll get over it. Wimp.
These are the fine people who stay on the as-yet-unnamed grouper fish farm. These tireless souls work endlessly to ensure only the best get served.
The lady of the house trying her hand at this.
.....and of course she gets laughed at by the sniper from Team Fortress who does it with one hand.
I mean, seriously, she can't even get the Buff right.
See? Do you see now? This woman is hopeless.
Me on the other hand...
...snicker with the team leader.
Making sure these groupers are of top quality by cleaning them in antiseptic baths and ridding them of parasites is a thankless, tiring job. Be thankful for what you have on your plates. These fishes don't give an easy time at all. That's why cameras have shutter speeds that go 1/1000th of a second and faster. That's right. Because of fucking fishes.
Oh hey look at his hair!
These shots here clearly serve no purpose other than to showcase the fact that I lay down on the boards of the kelong to capture images before I slowly fell asleep to the gentle waves. I'm kidding. Dude was feeding the fishes like a pro.
I did however, fall asleep.
Hours of this is no fun. I should know. We took turns.
But it builds character.
You thought it was gonna end didn't you? Dude obviously has a can of beer in his hand, right?
Work never ends on the kelong.
Dude had beer only for the longer journey ahead.
We all had beer for the same reason. Hic.
It takes a watchful eye.
It takes confidence.
Do you have it for whatever you're responsible for now?
Above all else, we have fun. Unexplained instances of fun. Like, seriously what the hell was going on here guys
I DON'T EVEN KNOW.
Hey look at me segue from fun to family working together because I haven't any original thought left!
Say what you will but family tops everything, including your opinion about my current lacklustre writing.
Also dogs. Much love. So fur. Such naughty.
Wow.
Did I mention friends going apeshit over beers?
How about family and confidantes sharing moments not even thunderstorms in the middle of the sea can destroy?
Do you have that in your life?
Find those moments. Find those people amongst the almost-impossible task of sieving through the countless number of people in the world and turn your darkness into brighter, better spaces.
See what I mean? Everything goes full circle.
I don't get it either. And I probably never will get 'it'.
But I think I'll be around and smiling.
You should try it sometime.
(:
Everyone has baggage, just never carry it for every trip.
It really does get better.
