KYUU by Shunsui

It is Pearlyn's birthday weekend and I thought I'd feed her something a little better than usual.

I'm no connoisseur of food, no Ramsey Michel of Chef or Anton Ego of Ratatouille (by this time you'll notice I don't even know real food critics), but I've watched the Jeong Kwan and Jordi Roca episodes of Chef's Table enough times to know what makes me feel.

The two different Omakase at KYUU by Shunshui made us feel absolutely satisfied, and probably a little undeserving. It's been days since I had a fever and I'm still going through a bad nose and a chronic headache, and yes I know this weekend isn't about me, but I am over the moon that Pearlyn's happy.

God I wish I had a better camera, or brought some lighting.
